THE STORY OF VILLAGE PALAMPUR P ALAMPUR-      It is an imaginary small village well connected by raiganj and shahpur through land routes (pakka road).Bullock cart tonga,bus,auto, jeep e.t.c are some means of transport used in this village .  It has two primary schools and one high school. THE SNAKE TRYING      THE   SNAKE   TRYING INTRODUCTION  This poem by W.W.E ROSS is about snakes who are really referred to as fearsome symbol of death but are actually victims themselves and usually cause no harm intentionally. The authors tries to campaign for the conservation of animals , especially snakes through this poem SUMMARY In this poem,the snake has been descried as an innocent creature which wants to save its life from humans. The ways and means humans use to kill the snake are referred to as "the pursuing stick". T he shapes and sudden curving of the snake are beautiful and graceful. It glides through water away from the stroke. The green, small snake doesn't cause any injury even to kids and toddlers. The author request people to let the harmless snake go into the reeds to protect itself from attackers. The snake lies along the sand till it is observed.
