THE STORY OF VILLAGE PALAMPUR P ALAMPUR-      It is an imaginary small village well connected by raiganj and shahpur through land routes (pakka road).Bullock cart tonga,bus,auto, jeep e.t.c are some means of transport used in this village .  It has two primary schools and one high school. The authors tries to campaign for the conservation of animals , especially snakes through this poem SUMMARY In this poem,the snake has been descried as an innocent creature which wants to save its life from humans. The ways and means humans use to kill the snake are referred to as "the pursuing stick". T he shapes and sudden curving of the snake are beautiful and graceful.
